I agree, a time series would be interesting to see the development over the last years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-67233246043504376422012-06-14T16:15:41.179+10:002012-06-14T16:15:41.179+10:00What wine at 16%? I recently consumed a 2002 wine from a winery in Greenock which was sitting at 16% and this was too sweet for me. It is very difficult (for the winemaker) to have all the components of a wine in balance if the alcohol is sitting around 14.5% or 15%.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-33237166859513425992012-06-14T11:35:28.583+10:002012-06-14T11:35:28.583+10:00I'm with CardiacKevin it would be interesting ...I'm with CardiacKevin it would be interesting to do some sort of time series analysis, but I think the high alcohol trend is probably longer than 10 yearsDarby from Vinodiversityhttp://vinodiversity.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-757008444487193622012-06-14T10:57:43.570+10:002012-06-14T10:57:43.570+10:00What was the highest alcohol percent, did any exce...What was the highest alcohol percent, did any exceed 18%?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-57391781623547531442012-06-14T10:36:26.839+10:002012-06-14T10:36:26.839+10:00I would be more interested in finding out how clos...I would be more interested in finding out how close to the stated alcohol levels these wines actually were with the allowed +/- 1.5% variance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-29580990216480982412012-06-08T22:59:47.487+10:002012-06-08T22:59:47.487+10:00More interesting would be the trend over the last ...More interesting would be the trend over the last 10 years.CardiacKevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540577199421732126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-75621959458700076422012-06-08T16:23:40.148+10:002012-06-08T16:23:40.148+10:00I think it requires some multivariate cluster anal...I think it requires some multivariate cluster analysisVineyard Paulhttp://www.vineyardpaul.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1576761200903416549.post-22184767141887842052012-06-08T15:57:18.931+10:002012-06-08T15:57:18.931+10:00Given the results it would be interesting to run t...Given the results it would be interesting to run the test again whereby 14.5% was the diving line (i.e. how many wines above 14.5% scored well)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
